How do I find out if I have a broadband connection?
If you are using MS Windows, (while you are on-line) go to your
Start menu and open your Control Panel, click on Network Connections,
then click on the connection it shows. A box should pop up with
connection information. Under General, it will show your connection
Speed.
If it says 56 kbps ( kilobits per second ) or less, you do not
have a broadband connection.
If it says 64 kbps or more, you do have a broadband connection.
If your speed is listed as mbps (megabits per second) you have a
broadband connection.
